Dogs and Owners of the Month

Every month we would like to recognise one of our many customers, who for one reason or another deserves some recognition.

I chose this image to be the first customer to appear on my web-site as i was most impressed by the control the customer has over her Rottweiler dog Kane. Kane is a pet dog and a prime example of how a large dog can live harmoniously with the family. This specific breed is often feared, and indeed has a bad reputation, but in the right hands and brought up correctly, being given all the socialisation he needs this breed can make a wonderful companion dog.

Kane was introduced to Dial A Dog Wash in Blackpool some three years ago and still to this day is having his monthly wash, groom and blow dry. When the van arrives he can't wait to jump in and leaps straight into the bath. A true gentle giant.

November 2010.

This month I groomed Charlie, a lovely Cavalier owned by Cathy Hilton. This breed is popular and can be groomed in many different ways. Some customers ask that the dog be clipped all over and this of course is very practical in the wet weather, whilst others ask that a mere tidy up is undetaken , so as to retain the natural look of the dog. Charlie had a tidy up to include removal of tufty hair around the feet, the odd knot here and there and concluded with a good wash and brush up. The whole process left him looking lovely.
